1976 has been producing since 2005. Believes firmly that cinema is an international art, and gets involved in auteur driven films, with established or up and coming directors. Our films have been present in festivals such as Venice, Locarno, Berlin, Rotterdam, Toronto, etc.

Before creating 1976 productions, he worked for three years producing music videos and commercials, and several short films : «Portrait of the artist as his muse» (dir. Etienne Desrosiers), «Trailer Park Unicorn» (dir. Sid Zanforlin), «Hard Man To Love» (dir. Douglas Bensadoun), «A Girl and a Killer» and «Snow Drifts» (dir. Ann Arson), «Choking Game» (dir. Cynthia Tremblay), «Turn off before living» (dir. Annick Blanc), all of which have been presented in canadian and international festivals (Clermont-Ferrand, Namur, Dresden, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Hamburg, Palm Springs, Aarhus, etc.).
Since 2008, he focuses mainly on fiction feature films in coproduction.
Nicolas is active on the international scene and regularly attends various makets, most notably Berlin, Cannes, Rotterdam, Ventana Sur, No Borders, San Sebastian and Toronto. He is also an EAVE member.
